Now, Carrie McClelland hopes to turn that story into her next bestselling novel. Settling herself in the shadow of Slains Castle, she creates a heroine named for one of her own ancestors and starts to write.
But when she discovers her novel is more fact than fiction, Carrie wonders if she might be dealing with ancestral memory, making her the only living person who knows the truth-the ultimate betrayal-that happened all those years ago, and that knowledge comes very close to destroying her...
My review: I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed how the two story lines were woven together. I.got very wrapped up in the story and I could not wait to read more.. To me that is a sign of a good book. This book also has a time travel element to it. The love story was sweet with a great surprise ending. There is also a plug for genealogy work and it mentions the the vast resources the LDS church has, which I thought was cool. If you are looking for a good read, look no further.
